...I distinctly remember reading the e-mail Thomas Jane sent to Aint It Cool News last year, expressing his disgust over the direction of the sequel to his rather crappy Punisher film.
Now it turns out that Punisher: War Zone may actually be the first movie (out of three, if you include Dolph Lundren's even crappier film) to get it right. The Punisher isn't supposed to be a hero. He's not someone you should ever feel sympathy towards, or try to relate to. He's a severely damaged sociopath who likes to kill bad guys in alarmingly inventive ways.
Why did it take over twenty years for a studio to finally understand this?
